Jami BellJami A. Bell, FNP-C

A certified family nurse practitioner, Jami Bell received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nursing from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Notably, she graduated Summa Cum Laude with her BSN and with a 4.0 grade point average during her MSN program. Jami is nationally certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and has been a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing since 2006. She is a member of the International College of Integrative Medicine (ICIM).

Jami was drawn to a holistic approach to health early in her career. Motivated by the principle "Do no harm," Jami values the healing roles that diet play in health, supports the innate ability of the body to heal itself, identifies factors that impede healing and corrects those factors which are modifiable, and engages patients to actively participate in their healthcare by providing them the tools to create a positive change.

Jami has received advanced training in the safe and effective use of bio-identical hormone replacement therapies, including sex hormones for men and women, thyroid, adrenal, and others, as well as in the use of intravenous nutritional therapies. She is also currently taking the American Academy of Environmental Medicine (AAEM) four Instructional Courses that address the impact of the environment on human health. To further address the roles that heavy metals have in health, Jami is currently pursuing the curriculum provided by the American College for Advancement of Medicine’s (ACAM) in the identification, assessment, and detoxification of heavy metal toxicity.

Jami was born and raised in Montana. She and her husband, John, share a love of natural medicine. John is a Tennessee native and currently a student of acupuncture and classical Chinese medicine. They have been married for 16 years and enjoy motocross, mountain biking, and spending time with their two dogs. They are looking forward to becoming more acquainted with the natural beauty and culture that the Asheville area has to offer.
