John Bell

John BellJohn Bell, LAc

John became a proponent of natural healing in 2010 when he was inspired to adopt a holistic health and wellness mindset and lifestyle. He believes strongly in the basic pillars of health – sleep, deep breathing to oxygenate the body, nourishing foods, daily physical movement, and healthy lifestyles (stress management, emotional balance, and creative outlets). He began his career in the health and wellness field by earning a Master Reiki certification, which taught him to appreciate the nuances of energy and its effects within the body and with the external world. He was then introduced to acupuncture and knew after his first treatment that the next step for him was to expand his knowledge by pursuing his master’s in Classical Chinese Medicine. Following completion of a four-year course of study, John holds a master’s degree in Classical Chinese Medicine from Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine near Boone NC. John is licensed by the North Carolina Acupuncture Licensing Board, is certified and has been awarded diplomate status by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is a member of the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA). He is a student of Taijiquan, Qi Gong, and Kung Fu. John also holds a degree in business from the University of Phoenix. John enjoys sharing his passion for healthy living and helping patients reconnect with their health. As an avid outdoorsman, he enjoys North Carolina’s outdoors while hunting, fishing, hiking, and mountain biking, and enjoys returning to Montana to spend time with family in “Big Sky” country and wilderness.
