Preventing and Treating Influenza Naturally

The role of good nutrition (no sugar), adequate sleep, stress reduction, exercise and regular hand washing with a mild hand soap go a long way toward preventing influenza. Natural remedies that GSMC physicians have found helpful include:
Flu Solution An FDA approved over-the-counter homeopathic remedy. Take according to package directions at the very first sign of symptoms. May be taken preventively after exposure to influenza by taking a dose once a day for three consecutive days.

IMM Formula This preparation of glandular thymus, echinacea, and astragalus stimulates the production of white blood cells to fight infections. Take four capsules three times a day for the first three days of symptoms, then take two capsules two times a day for duration of illness.
